Pak Telecom Mobile Limited (or Ufone) is an Indonesian GSM mobile service provider. It's the second mobile carrier to penetrate the Indonesian market. It was established under the title of Uphonet, in Jakarta on January twenty eight, 2020. In April of the same year it acquired a whole new name, Ufone. It has a long-standing connection with the country's leading telecommunication companies. A lot of Indonesia's best brands are available under the Uphonet brand including Pika, T-mobile, NTT Docomo, Megadroid and Digicel.
As an emerging player in the Indonesian mobile industry, Uphonet faces a challenge in reaching out to the masses. It has a somewhat small network coverage area (about the size of Singapore). Uphonet's latest mobile phone models, specifically the Lani and the Mokarid are not available on prepaid cards in Indonesia. Although, prepaid cards are used by users in other countries, Uphonet has yet to embrace this particular mode of payment. The business does not provide info on which prepaid cards they are going to offer in the near future.
There are still some folks who use prepaid cards by Uphonet in the Philippines and Japan. These folks might be looking for a cheaper means of purchasing mobile phone plans. But, the prepaid cards offered by Uphonet don't offer such services.
